ESG-focused management policy

Isuzu Motors Co., (Thailand) Ltd. has been doing business in Thailand as a manufacturer of commercial vehicles for domestic and international sales for more than 55 years. The company is committed to supporting Isuzu’s business operations under the corporate philosophy of Isuzu Motors Limited (Japan) by promoting the participation of personnel at all levels throughout the organization together with Isuzu Group companies in Thailand and various business partners in action to create value for the organization and its stakeholders on the basis of ESG-focused management that takes into account environmental responsibility (Environment), social responsibility (Social) and conducting and supervising business under good governance principles (Governance) in order to respond the company’s goal of doing business for long-term sustainable growth amidst the business environment that has undergone major changes and is ready to handle for the current environmental and social challenges.

The company has considered and determined the material issues that are urgently needed to be carried out for the development to transform to be a sustainable organization from both the perspective of top management within the organization and the perspective of relevant stakeholders in each area as follows :

1. Climate Strategy
To reduce the negative impact and help mitigate the situation of climate change and jointly create a green corporate culture.

2. Waste Management
To reduce the impact of waste on humans and the environment.

3. Human Capital Development
To enhance the competency of personnel at all levels to have the potential and readiness for change.

To create happiness and good health in both daily life and work life of employees including encouraging employees to take responsibility and build good relationships with society and communities.

5. Customer Accountability
To conduct business and service for customers with integrity and transparency and to treat all customers equally along with strengthening and maintaining good relationships with customers sustainably.

6. Product and Service Quality
To create quality products and services in the level that can satisfy customers and also meet their needs.

7. Supply Chain Management
To focus in managing from processes of suppliers, production to delivery products and services to customers by minimizing the environment and social impacts on stakeholders in each area.

8. Code of Conduct and Business Ethics
To conduct and supervise business under the principles of good governance that is transparent and verifiable.

9. Innovation and Technology
To promote innovation and technology, both new inventions and improvements from existing ones which is modernized and can create better results.

10. Cybersecurity and Data Privacy
To promote cybersecurity and personal information management by strictly complying with each kind of laws, regulations and guidelines.

In this regard, personnel in every part of the organization are responsible for creating a culture of participation in driving the implementation of the above policies throughout the organization including seriously promoting cooperation with Isuzu Group companies in Thailand and various business partners to enhance capability of Isuzu to achieve overall sustainability goals.
